Rusty Mac Adopt A Teen Program
The Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse
Started by Rusty Mac in loving memory of his son in 1997
First year, there were 18 teens that needed a Christmas
This year, there are 286 teens
The volunteers and case workers go shopping using the teen’s wish list as a guide and suggest $100 amount for each teen. Some teens have wanted to use a portion of the dollars for a brother or sister.
The wish lists this year included:
- hair products
- socks and underwear
- mechanical pencils
- blow dryer
- book bag
- school uniforms
- Bible Study book
- bike
- watch,
- art supplies
- snow boots
- pajamas and slippers
- gloves & hats.
All of the dollars raised stays here in West Tennessee to help our teens.
